What we need to quote accurately
A photo of the wall with a tape measure in shot answers most of this.
The wall, not the room
Run length, ceiling height, and anything in the way — a downpipe, a hosereel, a light switch.
The largest thing that must fit
A golf bag, a helmet, a 15-inch laptop. Compartment size follows the biggest item.
How many people, and how often
Permanent assignments need one compartment each. Day use follows peak attendance, often far fewer.
How we get it in
Lift size, door widths, stair turns, loading access. A welded bank that will not fit the lift becomes a knock-down bank.
Why these four, and not a floor plan the reasoning
A floor plan gives room area, and room area decides almost nothing. Bank widths are set by the usable run of wall and the obstructions in it; compartment size is set by the largest item, not the average one; and the count follows peak simultaneous use rather than headcount, which on day-use rooms is often less than half.
Access is the one that turns into money on delivery day. A welded bank that will not go into the lift has to be re-made as a knock-down bank, and finding that out at the survey costs nothing while finding it out on site costs a delivery.

Made-to-order FAQ
Should I be looking at made to order or standard product?
Standard if a catalogue size fits your wall and you want it in weeks rather than months — lead time starts at two, subject to stock. Made to order if the opening is awkward, the count is specific, or the finish has to match a fit-out — six to ten weeks, and the size is whatever you need. We quote both where both are viable.
Which locker family do I actually need?
Two questions settle it. Does anything get hung up? Coats, uniforms and golf bags need full-height compartments. Does the same person keep the same compartment? If yes, assigned member lockers with billing; if no, day-use lockers with an automatic release at closing. The rest is finish, lock type and budget.
Do I have to choose the lock at the same time as the cabinet?
No, and it is worth separating them. The cabinet is the long-lived half. A standard cam lock cut-out takes a battery keypad lock, and that takes a connected latch, so a bank can move up a level later without the steel being touched. Tell us at survey that you may upgrade.
Can different banks in the same room have different locks?
Yes, and most rooms should. A club room typically ends up with assigned member banks on the platform, day-use banks on keypads, and staff cupboards on cam locks. Locks are specified per bank, so mixing costs nothing beyond the hardware difference.
Are dimensions height first or width first?
Always width × depth × height in millimetres on this site. Factory drawings commonly give cabinets as height × width × depth while giving charging units as width × depth × height, and mixing the two produces orders that do not fit through the door.
What finishes and colours are available?
Standard finishes are grey-white, coffee-white and ivory. Colour powder coats are available in any quantity that justifies a coating run, and wood-effect finishes suit front-of-house rooms. Handle colour is specified separately, and a contrasting handle is the cheapest way to make a bank look deliberate.
Do you supply against an architect or tender specification?
Yes — send it and we respond directly with dimensioned drawings, material and finish schedules, load ratings and compliance documentation. Where part of a specification is unwise for the application, particularly on gauge and wet-area siting, we say so in the submission rather than comply quietly.
What is the lead time?
Six to ten weeks, including sea freight and installation in Singapore — most families sit in the lower half of that band. Charging cabinets built to your opening run at the top of it, eight to ten, because tooling and a first-article sample come first. Custom colours add a powder-coat run. Retrofit latch kits for existing lockers are much faster at two to three weeks.
