Sports & Recreation Facilities

Where we started — unmanned equipment access that works

Quick answer: lockers for sports & recreation facilities in Singapore

LockerLogic builds keyless lockers for Singapore sports and recreation venues, including bespoke housings that store, charge and dispense equipment without staff present. Our platform already runs unmanned professional tennis ball machine cabinets at a public sports centre in Singapore, where users book, pay and unlock entirely from their phone at any hour. The same approach serves golf bag storage, racket and kit lockers, dive and watersports gear, and shared equipment schemes at academies, marinas and sports centres.

What we usually find

If none of this sounds like your site, you may not need us — and we would rather you worked that out here than after a meeting.

Equipment can only be issued when someone is on duty

Which caps your service to office hours, exactly when your courts and facilities are least busy. Early mornings and late evenings — the hours people actually want — need staff you cannot justify for the volume.

Shared equipment comes back flat, wet or not at all

Powered equipment returns uncharged and the next user finds it useless. Nobody is quite accountable, because nobody recorded who had it.

Members store gear wherever they can

Golf bags behind the pro shop counter, rackets in the office, wetsuits on a fence. Every one of these is an informal favour that someone has to remember and eventually gets blamed for.

Outdoor placement destroys ordinary lockers

A standard indoor locker put court-side or on a pontoon in Singapore is corroded within a year or two, and the sales pitch never mentioned it.

What changes once it is in

  • Equipment issued and returned at any hour with no staff present
  • Charge state monitored, so a unit is held back until it is actually usable
  • A record of who had which item, and when it came back
  • Bookable equipment slots with payment taken up front
  • Golf bag, racket, dive and watersports storage specified for wet and bulky gear
  • Construction specified for covered-outdoor placement rather than optimistically indoors

Buy, or have us fund and run it?

This is where the managed model works hardest. We fund and install the cabinet, run the bookings, payments, support and servicing, and pay the venue a monthly rental or a share — the venue provides a footprint and a socket. It is exactly how our tennis equipment cabinets already operate. Venues that would rather own the asset and run it on our platform can do that instead.

What we would specify

The families that come up most often for sports facilities. A single room usually ends up with two or three of these rather than one.

Smart Member Lockers

Assigned storage that opens from a member's phone

Full-height steel lockers in 2 to 24 compartments per bank, fitted with electronic latches and wired into the LockerLogic access platform. Members are assigned a compartment, then open it by scanning the QR code on the door or entering a PIN — there is no key to cut, no card to issue and no deposit to chase when someone resigns.

Changing Room & Staff Lockers

The proven steel locker, with smart access when you want it

Conventional full-height changing lockers in 2 to 24 compartments, built for wet areas and daily churn. Order them with mechanical latches at the lowest cost per compartment, or specify the same shells with electronic latches so the whole room can be brought onto the LockerLogic platform later without replacing a single cabinet.

Parcel & Deposit Lockers

Unattended handover, logged end to end

Multi-compartment banks with a controller, screen and keypad built in, for anything that has to change hands without two people being present. Deliveries, dry cleaning, equipment returns, key handovers and day bags all work the same way: one party drops and locks, the other gets a code, and the platform records both ends.

Device & Charging Lockers

Phones and devices stored, charged and accounted for

High-density compartment cabinets with a mains socket inside every cell, so a device charges while it is locked away. Used where phones must be surrendered — examination halls, secure meeting rooms, clean rooms, production floors — and for pooled tablets, radios and scanners that have to come back charged.

Bespoke Equipment Lockers

Purpose-built housings for the awkward, valuable and shared

Where a catalogue compartment will not do, we build the housing around the item. This is the line LockerLogic grew out of: our first cabinets were designed to hold, charge and dispense professional tennis ball machines unattended at a public sports centre, and the same approach applies to anything bulky, powered or shared between many users.

Shelving & Bulk Storage

Store rooms that hold more and stay tidy

Boltless light-duty shelving through to heavy pallet racking, plus mobile compact shelving that runs on floor tracks to recover the aisles. This is the least glamorous part of the range and often the highest-value: most store rooms we survey are holding half of what the same floor area could take.

Sports & Recreation Facilities — questions we get asked

Is there a working example we can look at?

Yes. Our access platform runs unmanned professional tennis ball machine cabinets at ActiveSG Sport Village @ Jurong Town, under our Tennis Machine SG brand. Players book and pay online or scan the QR code on the cabinet, and the equipment is out on court within a minute, at any hour, with nobody on duty. That deployment is the proof that the platform works unattended in a public venue in Singapore — you are not being asked to trial an idea on paper. The LockerLogic storage range is the same platform applied to member and staff storage, and we say plainly that those deployments are newer.

How do you stop equipment being damaged or not returned?

Every user is verified and accepts terms before the door opens, a card is held for a refundable deposit on high-value equipment, and the platform records the whole cycle. It does not make damage impossible — nothing does — but it makes the user identifiable and accountable, which changes behaviour markedly compared with an honour-system store.

Can a cabinet go outdoors beside a court or on a pontoon?

Under cover, yes, with sealed door edges, a rain hood, a drained base and stainless fasteners. Fully exposed to driving rain and standing water, expect a shorter service life whatever we build, and plan for it. We ask to see the intended position before quoting because siting matters more than material specification in this climate.

Could we run a paid equipment rental scheme ourselves on your platform?

Yes. The platform handles bookings, payments, deposits, terms acceptance, unlocking and reporting, so a venue can run its own equipment rental as a revenue line with your branding on it. Alternatively we operate it and pay you a rental or a share. Both work; which is better depends on whether you want the revenue or the simplicity.
